Protecting your personal data

This page explains which personal data we process when you contact us, when we work at your place and when you visit this website, and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your data?

For any question about your data: info@plombierronsmans.be

Which data do we process?

  • Your contact details: name, address, phone number, e-mail address.
  • What concerns your installation and our work: site address, description of the work, photographs and technical readings of the installation.
  • Quotes, orders, invoices and payments.
  • Our exchanges: e-mails, messages and phone calls (number, date, duration; voicemail messages and their written transcript).
  • If you apply for a job: your CV, your letter and our interview notes.
  • On this website: the technical browsing data described in our cookie policy.

Why, and on what basis?

  • Drawing up a quote, carrying out and invoicing the work, handling warranty and maintenance: performance of the contract, or of the pre-contractual steps you ask for.
  • Keeping our accounts: a legal obligation.
  • Answering your questions, organising our visits and improving our service: our legitimate interest in serving our customers well.
  • Measuring visits to this website: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
  • Showing our work with photographs of installations, with no person and nothing that could identify you: article 15 of our terms and conditions; you may object to it at any time.
  • Reviewing a job application: the pre-contractual steps you ask for by applying.

Who has access to your data?

Our staff who need them for their work. We do not sell your data. We use service providers who process it on our behalf and on our instructions:

  • our management software and its hosting (Odoo);
  • e-mail and telephony (Microsoft, Axivox);
  • artificial-intelligence tools that help us draft replies, translate, transcribe voicemail and answer the phone (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Retell AI);
  • Google, to protect our forms against robots (reCAPTCHA);
  • Google, to measure visits to this website if you accept it (Google Analytics);
  • the companies of our group, which use the same management software: your contact details are accessible to each of them there;
  • public authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union. The transfer then relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

For how long?

As long as needed for the purposes above: during our relationship, then for the periods the law requires (accounting, warranties). A photograph published on this website stays there until you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You may at any time ask for access to your data, or for its correction, erasure, restriction or portability; object to processing based on our legitimate interest; and withdraw a consent you gave. Write to us at info@plombierronsmans.be.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
